Material of PETRAD's programme in Stavanger-Norway

During 16 September till second week of November, PETRAD a Norwegian Petroleum Administration body organize 8-weeks Petroleum Development and Operations, and 8-weeks Petroleum Policy and Resources Management at Stavanger,

The objective of the course programme is to increase the participants’ skills and give them tools, so that they can contribute to manage and administer the petroleum resources in their own countries in a better way.

I and a Timorise participant who is use work as Director for Health Safety and Environment of Timor-Leste National Petroleum Authority are selected to attend the course. Moreover, also some participants are come from ASEAN countries such as Malaysia-Petronas, Philipine-NOC, Myanmar-MOGE and Indonesia – SKK Migas

The programme will consist of the following modules: introduction of Energy Policy, Petroleum Sector Policy, as well as overview and introduction to course, Petroleum legislation and regulations, Institutional framework, Licensing regime and model contract, Governance in the petroleum sector, Petroleum project economics, Petroleum fiscal regimes, Relation and communication, Safety and Environmental management.
